The Storytelling Project
Short stories co-created with patients, caregivers, and staff on the palliative care unit at Bruyère, crafted by professional storyteller Kim Kilpatrick.
Humans are natural storytellers. We make sense of ourselves, our experiences, and the world through stories. With funding from the Bruyère Academic Medical Organization, our team evaluated whether storytelling could work as part of emotional and psychological care for palliative patients and families.
